Welcome to PaisaTrack. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PaisaTrack application and website ("Service") operated by PaisaTrack ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using PaisaTrack, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Account Registration
- You may register using Google OAuth or email/password
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
- One person may maintain only one account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
3. Use of Service
PaisaTrack is a personal finance management tool. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service
4. Subscription Plans
Trial Plan: New users receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required for the trial.
Yearly Plan: Paid annual subscription providing continued access after the trial period. Payments are processed securely through Razorpay.
- Subscription fees are billed annually in advance
- Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
- Your subscription will not auto-renew; you will be notified before expiry
5. Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day refund policy from the date of payment for yearly subscriptions. To request a refund:
- Email support@paisatrack.com within 7 days of purchase
- Include your registered email address and reason for the refund
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
Refund requests after 7 days will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into PaisaTrack. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
- You can export your data at any time
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
- We will not share your financial data with third parties for marketing purposes
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (we will provide advance notice when possible)
- Emergency security updates
- Circumstances beyond our control (infrastructure outages, natural disasters)
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
PaisaTrack is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Specifically:
- PaisaTrack is a financial tracking tool, not a financial advisor. We do not provide investment, tax, or financial advice.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of any calculations, reports, or analytics generated by the Service
- You are solely responsible for financial decisions made based on data displayed in PaisaTrack
- We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from the use of this Service
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PaisaTrack and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in subscription fees during the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Abuse the Service or its infrastructure
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of PaisaTrack after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including:
- The Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments
- The Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act), 2023
- The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
13. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, we encourage you to first contact us to seek an amicable resolution:
- Step 1: Email support@paisatrack.com describing the issue. We will respond within 48 hours.
- Step 2: If unresolved within 15 days, escalate to our Grievance Officer at grievance@paisatrack.com.
- Step 3: If still unresolved within 30 days, you may pursue legal remedies under Indian law, including approaching the appropriate consumer forum or the Data Protection Board of India.
14. Data Protection
Your use of PaisaTrack is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in compliance with the DPDP Act, 2023. Key commitments:
- We never sell your personal or financial data
- All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3)
- We do not access your bank accounts, SMS, or UPI credentials
- You can delete your account and all data at any time
